The Dorset Unit is supported by the Dorset Council and trains in a range of SES skills such as road crash rescue, general rescue, storm damage operations and search and rescue to support the community in their time of need.

The Flinders Island Unit is supported by the Flinders Island Council and trains in a range of SES skills to support the community in their time of need. The unit also helps out at many community events with general support and traffic control.

The St Helens Unit, which is part of the Break O’Day municipality, is responsible for the coastal strip located in the area north of Bicheno, across to Pyengana and Ansons Bay.

The St Helens Unit trains in a range of SES skills such as road crash rescue, general rescue, storm damage operations and search and rescue to support the community in their time of need.

The St Marys Unit is also part of the Break O’Day Municipality, but its response areas are around the St Marys side of the Fingal Valley.
