The Brighton SES Unit is a General Rescue Unit providing storm, flood and general response to the municipal area of Brighton and other areas as required.

The Bruny Island SES Unit is a municipal unit sponsored by the Kingborough Council for road crash rescue. The volunteers also train in general rescue and storm and flood damage.

The Central Highlands SES Unit is a municipal unit based in Wayatinah. Its primary role is road crash rescue.

The Derwent Valley SES Unit is based in New Norfolk. It is a very active road crash rescue unit with a secondary role of storm damage response.

The Glamorgan/Spring Bay SES Unit is based in Swansea and is an active road crash rescue unit with a secondary role in Storm and flood response.

 

The Huon Valley SES Unit is based in Huonville and is on call 24 hours a day. It is a very active road crash rescue unit which also trains in general rescue and storm damage.

The Southern Midlands SES Unit is an active road crash rescue unit based in Oatlands with a sub-unit in Kempton.

The Southern Midlands Kempton SES Unit is a sub-unit of the Southern Midlands Unit based in Oatlands. The unit is very active in the road crash resuce space and also trains in general rescue and storm damage.

The Southern Regional Unit trains in general rescue, storm and flood response, general and road crash rescue and communications. The unit also plays a significant role in public relations for the State Emergency Service. The unit responds to calls throughout the region.

The unit supports other units in the region together with communication support to the Tasmanian Police as required.
