Everyone needs to get ready for emergencies. People living with disability often have extra things to think about or need some support – and we’re here to help online or in person.
The workshops follow the Person Centred Emergency Preparedness (P-CEP) model, with four steps:
- Your strengths and support needs in everyday life – you are the expert in your own life.
- Know how prepared you are for an emergency and learn about your disaster risk.
- Plan for your support needs in an emergency.
- Communicate your plan with the people in your support network and connect to address gaps.
