{"id":8944,"date":"2024-10-18T14:29:00","date_gmt":"2024-10-18T03:29:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.ses.tas.gov.au\/?p=8944"},"modified":"2026-03-26T17:36:28","modified_gmt":"2026-03-26T06:36:28","slug":"wynyard-and-huon-valley-community-flood-guides-now-available","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.ses.tas.gov.au\/zh\/wynyard-and-huon-valley-community-flood-guides-now-available\/","title":{"rendered":"Wynyard and Huon Valley Community Flood Guides now available"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Flooding can cause widespread and significant damage, and it is important for all Tasmanians to be aware of any flood risk that might exist where they live, visit, own property, or work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>SES is working with the local community at high risk of flooding to develop Community Protection Flood Plans and guides.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Wynyard and Huon Valley Community Flood Guides <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ses.tas.gov.au\/zh\/plan-prepare\/flood-plan\/\">are now available<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>These guides provide advice for Wynyard and Huon Valley community members and visitors on:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>local flood risks<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>flood warning arrangements<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>actions they can take before, during, and after a flood to keep safe and minimise risks.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Residents in flood-prone areas are encouraged to prepare a <a href=\"https:\/\/bit.ly\/TasSESHomeEmergencyPlan\">Home Emergency Plan<\/a> \u548c <a href=\"https:\/\/www.ses.tas.gov.au\/zh\/plan-prepare\/emergency-kit\/\">Home Emergency Kit<\/a>.<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Flooding can cause widespread and significant damage, and it is important for all Tasmanians to be aware of any flood risk that might exist where they live, visit, own property,&hellip;<\/p>","protected":false},"author":15,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"closed","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"_acf_changed":false,"_monsterinsights_skip_tracking":false,"_monsterinsights_sitenote_active":false,"_monsterinsights_sitenote_note":"","_monsterinsights_sitenote_category":0,"footnotes":""},"categories":[1],"tags":[],"class_list":["post-8944","post","type-post","status-publish","format-standard","hentry","category-uncategorised"],"acf":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v24.9 -
