This is a significant step in implementing the TFES reforms.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Upon implementation, the TFES Bill 2026 will replace the existing <em>\u0e1e\u0e23\u0e30\u0e23\u0e32\u0e0a\u0e1a\u0e31\u0e0d\u0e0d\u0e31\u0e15\u0e34\u0e01\u0e32\u0e23\u0e2a\u0e2d\u0e1a\u0e2a\u0e27\u0e19\u0e01\u0e32\u0e23\u0e40\u0e1e\u0e25\u0e34\u0e07\u0e44\u0e2b\u0e21\u0e49 \u0e1e.\u0e28. 2522<\/em> and regulations. Amendments to the <em>\u0e1e\u0e23\u0e30\u0e23\u0e32\u0e0a\u0e1a\u0e31\u0e0d\u0e0d\u0e31\u0e15\u0e34\u0e01\u0e32\u0e23\u0e08\u0e31\u0e14\u0e01\u0e32\u0e23\u0e20\u0e32\u0e27\u0e30\u0e09\u0e38\u0e01\u0e40\u0e09\u0e34\u0e19 \u0e1e.\u0e28. 2549<\/em> regarding the functions of the SES will also be required. These functions have been incorporated into the draft Bill.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>To view the draft Bill and explanatory materials, please visit:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><a href=\"\/th\/reform\/drafttasmaniafireandemergencyservicebill2026\/tfesconsultationbill2026\/\">Tasmania Fire and Emergency Service Bill 2026<\/a> (PDF, 2.15 MB) \u2013 consultation draft of the legislation.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"\/th\/reform\/drafttasmaniafireandemergencyservicebill2026\/tfesconsultationbill2026factsheet\/\">TFES Consultation Bill 2026 Fact Sheet<\/a> (PDF, 260 KB) \u2013 provides a summary of the content of the Bill.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><a href=\"\/th\/reform\/drafttasmaniafireandemergencyservicebill2026\/tfesregulationsconsultationpaper\/\">Consultation Paper \u2013 TFES Regulations and Supporting Processes<\/a> (PDF, 536 KB) \u2013 Feedback received on the consultation paper, including comments on matters proposed to be addressed in the new Regulations, will be carefully considered as part of developing the new TFES Regulations.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>However, stakeholder feedback may not be fully reflected in the working draft of the TFES Regulations that is expected to be released for public consultation in the coming weeks.
