If you need to evacuate, you should leave early, before flood waters rise. Listen to ABC local radio for warnings and advice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>In such flooding events, the Westbury area may be isolated due to flooding of<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>the Meander Valley Road<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Birralee Road and<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Osmaston Road.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Flooding, landslips or fallen trees may also cut minor roads. It is dangerous to drive through flooded roads, particularly in isolated areas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Even if your home is not inundated, you may be isolated for several days. You should have supplies for up to three days and be prepared for power and telecommunications outages. The amount of time between the warning and the arrival of heavy rain can vary from an hour to 24 hours or sometimes more.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There are no gauging stations in the Quamby Brook catchment to support BoM to issue <strong>\u0e1b\u0e23\u0e30\u0e01\u0e32\u0e28\u0e40\u0e15\u0e37\u0e2d\u0e19\u0e20\u0e31\u0e22\u0e19\u0e49\u0e33\u0e17\u0e48\u0e27\u0e21 <\/strong>with specific flood heights for Quamby
