Angkatan Pertahanan Awam Tasmania (SES) mengingatkan orang ramai agar bersiap sedia dengan kemungkinan hujan lebat dan ribut petir yang diramalkan hujung minggu ini.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDengan sistem cuaca tekanan rendah yang ketara diramalkan akan sampai ke Tasmania esok, ia adalah masa yang sesuai untuk semua orang bersiap sedia dan sentiasa mengetahui perubahan keadaan,\u201d kata Penolong Pengarah SES, Leon Smith.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBermula esok, dan berterusan hingga Ahad, sistem cuaca akan melintasi negeri kita, dengan potensi ribut petir dan hujan lebat.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cPada peringkat ini, jumlah hujan tertinggi dijangka berlaku di bahagian selatan dan timur di mana hujan dijangka lebih berterusan.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cBersama dengan aktiviti ribut petir, terdapat potensi untuk banjir kilat di kawasan setempat. Nilai taburan hujan yang tinggi berpotensi menyebabkan banjir sungai peringkat kecil hingga sederhana dari Ahad hingga awal minggu depan di lembangan di tenggara, timur laut dan pantai timur.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSES Tasmania sedang bersiap sedia menghadapi cuaca, dan kami menggalakkan komuniti untuk berbuat demikian juga.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Perkhidmatan Kecemasan Negeri menasihatkan bahawa orang ramai perlu:
Awasi kanak-kanak dengan rapi.
Periksa sama ada ahli keluarga dan jiran sedar tentang amaran tersebut.
Urus haiwan peliharaan dan ternakan.
* Pastikan barang luar seperti perabot dan peralatan permainan selamat.
* Bersiap sedia sekiranya berlaku gangguan bekalan elektrik dan laporkan sebarang gangguan ke TasNetworks di talian 132 004.
Berhati-hatilah dengan pokok tumbang dan wayar elektrik yang rosak serta memandu dengan berhati-hati.
