Tasmania SES sekali lagi menyeru rakyat Tasmania untuk sentiasa mengikuti ramalan dan amaran cuaca, dengan lebih banyak keadaan basah dijangka memberi impak kepada sistem sungai yang sudah tepu dalam beberapa hari akan datang.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pengarah Urusan Sementara Tasmania SES, Leon Smith berkata, hujan sederhana hingga lebat yang diramalkan oleh Biro Meteorologi akan meningkatkan lagi paras sungai.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMesej untuk penduduk Tasmania ialah semua sistem sungai di bahagian utara negeri ini benar-benar tepu,\u201d katanya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cKami menjalankan penilaian udara di utara Tasmania sepanjang minggu lalu, dan masih banyak air bertakung di padang-padang yang tidak akan hilang dalam masa terdekat.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSetiap titisan hujan yang turun akan menaikkan paras sungai dan boleh menyebabkan banjir kilat.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Biro juga telah mengeluarkan amaran cuaca buruk untuk angin tenggara yang merosakkan dengan kelajuan hembusan sekitar 80 km\/j di bahagian timur, tenggara dan sebahagian utara.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSekali lagi, dengan keadaan semasa, kita tahu tanah basah yang boleh menyebabkan pokok lebih mudah tumbang.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Amaran banjir telah dikeluarkan untuk sungai South Esk, Macquarie, North Esk dan Meander dan pemerhatian banjir berterusan untuk Tadahan Utara, Timur Laut, Derwent dan Tenggara.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Encik Smith berkata SES telah berhubung dengan majlis perbandaran dan komuniti yang berkemungkinan terjejas.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cOrang yang tinggal di kawasan pantai timur seperti St Helens dan St Marys sedar bahawa mereka perlu mengambil langkah berjaga-jaga dan menyediakan harta benda mereka,\u201d katanya.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMajlis-majlis tersebut mempunyai maklumat di laman web mereka tentang tempat-tempat di mana orang ramai boleh mendapatkan beg pasir untuk membantu mengurangkan risiko rumah dan perniagaan mereka terjejas akibat genangan air.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n
