Cuaca buruk terus menjejaskan tenggara dan timur Tasmania, dengan hujan lebat, angin kencang dan ribut petir dialami.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Amaran cuaca buruk masih berkuat kuasa untuk hujan lebat dan angin kencang di tenggara Tasmania termasuk Lembah Huon, kawasan pentadbiran Hobart serta sebahagian Pantai Timur (termasuk amaran ribut petir), dengan cuaca paling berbahaya dijangka berlaku pagi ini, dan beransur pulih pada sebelah petang.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Pengarah Eksekutif Sementara SES Leon Smith berkata perkhidmatan kecemasan menerima kira-kira 30 panggilan bantuan semalaman, termasuk 15 disebabkan oleh banjir.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cMasih terdapat risiko banjir sederhana khususnya di Sungai Huon, namun kawasan lain tidak seharusnya alpa,\u201d kata Encik Smith.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cKru SES dan polis tempatan telah meronda di luar rumah penduduk, perniagaan dan taman karavan di kawasan Huon sepanjang malam untuk memastikan mereka bersedia sekiranya berlaku banjir besar Sungai Huon.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cSemua penduduk di Huon Valley dan kawasan berisiko banjir lain digesa untuk terus berwaspada dan mendapatkan maklumat terkini dengan melayari laman web BOM dan SES.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDengan aktiviti ribut petir yang sedang dialami di kawasan Hobart yang lebih luas, kami mungkin juga menjangkakan banjir kilat, jadi orang ramai dinasihatkan supaya tetap berwaspada.\u201d<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Beberapa jalan terjejas oleh air termasuk:
\u2022 Risdon Road, Hobart ditutup antara Stesen Servis Ampol dan Brooker Highway
\u2022 Jalan Glen Huon di Huonville
\u2022 Lebuh Raya Tasman di Cambridge dan Rose Bay
\u2022 Jalan Adventure Bay, Pulau Bruny
\u2022 Lebuhraya Tasman, antara Orford dan Runnymede<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Kejadian cuaca berterusan, dan angin kencang serta hujan lebat dijangka berterusan hingga petang ini, dan orang ramai diingatkan supaya bersiap sedia dan mengelakkan perjalanan yang tidak perlu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cDalam keadaan yang sukar ini, jika anda tidak perlu keluar rumah, jangan keluar,\u201d kata Encik Smith.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Perkhidmatan SES dan kecemasan terus mempunyai kru yang memberi respons, dalam keadaan siap siaga serta Pusat Operasi Serantau dan Negeri diaktifkan.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Perkhidmatan Kecemasan Negeri menasihatkan bahawa orang ramai perlu:

Cari tempat berlindung, lebih baik di dalam bangunan dan jangan sesekali berlindung di bawah pokok.
