Statistics  

Each of the SES Volunteer Units provides a 24/7 response capability to their local communities.  This service would be beyond the resources of the State if it were not for the volunteers.  The following link to a number of statistics showing callouts, categories of callouts and emergency contact hours shows just how much of a contribution our volunteers make to the community. 

This is in addition to the number of hours spent training to respond effectively and efficiently to each callout.

We hope this information may help you to appreciate the role of the SES volunteers in our community and to value their contribution.
