Volunteering

When it’s safe, volunteers may be required to support approved organisations involved in the recovery. To register to be a volunteer and for more information, go to emergencyvolunteering.force.com/Register Link to External Site

There have been no formal requests for volunteers yet.

In the meantime, please stay clear of affected areas and keep safe.

Volunteer to help injured wildlife

To help care for injured wildlife, call:

  • Bonorong Wildlife Sanctuary on 6268 1184

Donating

Vinnies Tasmania Flood Appeal

The St Vincent de Paul Society in Tasmania in partnership with MyState has launched the 2016 Tasmanian Floods Appeal to provide assistance to people impacted by the floods.

St Vincent’s urges anyone wanting to help to make a financial contribution rather than donating goods. St Vincent’s is not in a position to accept large amounts of donated goods, or to distribute them to flood-affected communities.

To donate:
